Wines are part of the Mediterranean gastronomic tradition and represent a quality element that can complement certain menus in a balanced way, especially in gastronomic settings or at special events. Made by fermenting grapes, wines are drinks of great sensory richness, able to bring aroma, depth and harmony to dishes.

A wine for every occasion…

In the kitchen, wines are highly versatile. They accompany and enhance meat, fish, pasta and cheese dishes. White wines bring freshness and subtlety, ideal for fish, vegetables and rice dishes. Red wines offer body and intensity, perfect for meat and stews. Rosé wines have a light, fruity profile that goes well with a variety of dishes and lighter menus.

At Sabors d’Origen we have a wide range of local wines, some of which carry the prestigious seals of the area’s designations of origin. We also offer a range of natural and organic wines from different Catalan D.O.s.

VINS PETXINA

At VINS PETXINA we focus on the diversity of Catalan wines. We offer a wide selection of wines rarely found in shops. Catalonia is a mountainous country with difficult communications and a great variety of climates, traditions and characters. All of this is reflected in its wines, and we don’t want you to miss out, because there are real hidden treasures.

We do this by working with different wineries that own the vineyards and facilities. We explain to their winemakers the wine we have in mind. They turn our ideas into wine and bottle it, and we sell it.

We are based in Manresa and currently work with three wineries: one in La Nou de Gaià (Tarragonès), another in Sarral (Conca de Barberà) and the last in Vilobí del Penedès (DO Penedès).

Celler Cooperatiu d’Artés

The walls, vats and barrels of the winery bear witness to our history in the world of wine. The Celler Cooperatiu d’Artés gathers the history of generations of winegrowers who felt, and still feel, rooted in the land, in farming and in the vineyards.

Our winery has seen years of poor harvests and scarce wine production, but also fruitful years and the creation of new blends and new wines. All this experience and everything we have learned can be tasted in every drop, every glass and every bottle of our wine.
