Kombuchas

The power of kombucha

What is kombucha…

Kombucha is a fermented drink with ancient origins that has become popular in recent years thanks to its nutritional benefits and its fresh, slightly fruity taste. Made from sweetened, fermented tea, it stands out for its natural probiotic content, which helps keep gut flora healthy and aids digestion.

Nutritionally…

Nutritionally, this drink provides organic acids, which may help with detoxifying processes and regulating the body’s pH. It also contains small amounts of B vitamins and antioxidants from the tea used to make it.

Although it is a light drink, kombucha is refreshing and a healthier alternative to soft drinks and sugary beverages, especially on menus looking for modern options in line with current trends.

Pairs well with…

Kombucha works well as a complementary drink, ideal with light lunches, salads or healthy menus. Its many variants (with fruit, herbs, spices or infusions) mean it can be adapted to different tastes.

ENZO FERMENTATS

Enso Ferments is Jordi, Ferran, Pol, Nando, Marga, Jacob and everyone who has at some point contributed to this self-taught learning process we call a company.

We are passionate about fermentation, but also about the vegetable garden, manual work, vegetables and the microorganisms that live on them, country life, and watching the seasons go by.

Our main goal is to offer surprising drinks and foods using only quality raw materials preserved through natural fermentation processes, with no need for preservatives or additives.

vitae

When we founded the company, we set out to work with an organisation connected with water, as it is the main ingredient in any kombucha.

That is how the idea came about of donating part of our profits to the De Font a Font programme, which focuses on water as a natural resource. It is an environmental volunteering initiative open to everyone, promoting knowledge, research and the stewardship of heritage.

Among other activities, they restore natural springs that have stopped flowing. They treat them as a social asset, and water as a resource to support education for sustainability.
